F.A.Q.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about my Real Estate Photography services

What is your scheduling/cancellation policy?

Scheduling appointments as far in advance as possible is the best option to secure a time slot; however, as cancellations occur same day scheduling is occasionally available. There are no cancellation fees so it is highly requested to provide immediate notification of cancellation to allow for other late notice appointments to be scheduled. Appointments will be re-confirmed the night before or the morning of the scheduled appointment.

It's raining, can we reschedule?

Based upon years of experience, houses photographed on overcast/rainy days have gone under contract just as fast as houses photographed on sunny days. In many cases, they have both been under contract in less than a week.

How long does it take for you to photograph a home?

If the house is prepared to be photographed, a 2700 square foot home can be photographed in less than an hour an a half. Having a home cleaned and decluttered helps reduce the amount of preparation time, as well as the time it takes to photograph the home. See the list of things to do to get a home ready to photograph. Do I need to be at the house while you photograph it?

Not necessarily. If access is provided, the home can be photographed and locked upon departure. If preferred, the seller can be present while the house is being photographed; however, in many cases they have been unintentionally photographed in a mirror or window reflection. 1 day lockbox codes can also be given for access.

What rights do I have to the photos?

What needs to be done to get the house ready for the best photographs possible?

Can you "photoshop" that out?

While photo editing does occur to enhance and maximize the quality of the images, it is best not to completely “photoshop out” undesirable items on the premises. This can lead prospective buyers to feel that the images are a misrepresentation of the actual property.

What is your turn around time?

Completed images are available within 24 hours, but the goal is to provide them on the same day as the photoshoot.

How to do I get files and what format do they come in?

An email is sent with low resolution jpg photos in a zip file for MLS listings along with a link to full resolution photos from the website.

How do you accept payment?

Photos are not released until payment is made. Once photos are ready an invoice is sent thru the Squareup site. When payment is received, photos are sent as soon as possible.
